Kasper Boon studied Applied Physics at Eindhoven University of Technology in The Netherlands and obtained his PhD in 1974 at the University of Twente. In 1985 he became a professor at the Open University. In the period 1990-91 he was President of the College of Professors (Rector). From 1996 – 2003 he was Dean at Maastricht University. During this period he was also director of the National Institute for Knowledge Systems in The Netherlands. Based on studies by the Harvard University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Kasper Boon, Emeritus professor at the Maastricht University, has reinvented the MBA resulting in the corporate MBA.
